Kalutara is a resort town located about 40 km south of Colombo in Sri Lanka.The city's name is derived
from the Kalu Ganga River. Kalutara is situated in the Western Province of Sri Lanka on the
coastline towards the south. The famous Kalutara Bo tree is located by the side of Kalu
river, in a clam and quite environment , at the northern entrance of
Kalutara city.
