DIMO Academy for Technical Skills recently undertook a tender to provide training and equipment to Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI -German Tech) and Sri Lanka German Training Institute (SLGTI -German Tech Kilinochchi).

The objective of the training program was to update the knowledge of instructors in these institutions on the latest automobile technology as well as training methods. DATS also produced training models and simulators for the these institutes under this project. The project was funded by GIZ.
DATS officially handed over the training equipment to GIZ recently with the Participation of Ms Dilrukshi Kurukulasuriya representing DIMO, Ms Tatjana Rest , Technical Advisor GIZ, Mr.Vinod Kumar Moonasinghe, Chairman of SLGTI and CGTTI . Officials from DATS and GIZ , SLGTI and CGTTI also participated in the handing over ceremony.
