For the 1st time in Sri Lanka, Commercial Bank introduced WhatsApp Banking.

Commercial Bank’s WhatsApp Banking offers services to both accountholders and non-customers, and importantly, can facilitate opening of accounts online.

  • Opening of new accounts
  • Access ComBank Digital

Account holders can inquire their Account Balance, Account History, or request for a Cheque Book, while both customers and non-customers can inquire for Fixed Deposit rates and foreign exchange rates. Further, self-register with the ComBank Digital app or open a new account through the Flash Digital Bank Account can accommodated.

How to register

Add the number +94 713 353353 to your contacts and Say ‘Hi’ from your registered mobile number to start a conversation. A set of simple instructions will sent to your mobile through WhatsApp messaging platform with a secure and interactive menu to follow.

Follow the instructions on your mobile screen and enter numerical commands to get the relevant information that you look for. The inquired information will be shared with you after entering the unique One-Time-Password (OTP) sent by the Bank via SMS.

Who can register

Any Commercial Bank customer with a registered mobile number or any noncustomer who seek to open an account with Commercial Bank can access and enjoy WhatsApp Banking. 

Customers can access to ComBank through WhatsApp using their registered mobile number.

Non customers will be direct to open an account with Bank by using Flash Mobile Application and get self registered without visiting a branch.

Open WhatsApp, search for the above contact number and type “Hi” from your registered phone number associated with your Commercial Bank account.

Register by providing OTP received to your mobile number via SMS.
