(Vacancies for Project Management Unit (PMU)
Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka with below mentioned qualifications and experience to fill the following position of the Project Management Unit (PMU) at Colombo.
DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (CREDIT) - 01 Post (Colombo) Summary of Responsibilities. He/She is responsible for maintaining good relationships with PFIs, other related government organizations and programme partners to implement credit activities in an effective manner. He/She should responsible for collecting relevant information from stakeholders and maintaining databases in the MIS and reporting to management.
Required Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in the relevant field which is recognized by the University Grants Commission and at least 3 years of experience in the required area.
Experience
2. Working experience in a donor funded project with similar capacity is desirable.
3. Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must with knowledge in MS Office packages 4. Proficiency in Tamil language will be an added qualification.
Age Limit: Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 65 years of age on the closing date of application.
Method of Selection: Short-listed applicants based on qualifications and experience will be called for an interview. Salary Scale: (PS 6) Salary is based on the Management Services Circular No.01/2016 of 24.03.2016.
Terms of Employment. The appointment will be on contract basis and all conditions in the MD Circular No. 01/2016 and 01/2016 (1) will be applied.
Location: Project Management Unit (PMU) is in Colombo. Extensive travelling for project areas is involved. Condition of Employment: Officers belonging to Government Service will be recruited on secondment basis and persons outside the Government Service will be recruited on contract basis. All appointments will be initially for one year period and extension of service will be based on successful performance. Applications: All applicants are requested to forward their applications together with Curriculum Vitae along with two non-related referees and copies of the certificates under registered post on or before 15/01/2019 to reach the address given below.
