POST OF CIVIL SUPERINTENDENT
Ceylon Electricity Board intends to
obtain the services of Civil Superintendent on contract basis for a period of
01 year for Northern Province (Jaffna) in Distribution Division 1. The Civil
Superintendent thus recruited will be employed at the Northern Province Jaffna
of Region 1.
Applications are now invited for
the above post from the citizens of Sri Lanka having following qualifications
and experience.
1. Qualifications:
Applicants should have passed
National Diploma in Technology (Civil Engineering) of the University of
Moratuwa or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Ceylon Electricity
Board.
2. Age:
Applicants Should be between 18 - 35 years of age.
3. Experience: Experience in Electricity
Distribution and Construction works will be an advantage.
4. Eligibility: Only those who are willing to serve
in the Northern Province (Jaffna) are eligible to apply.

6. Terms
and Conditions of Contract
The appointment will be purely on
contract basis for a period of one year. The period of contract may be extended
further if CEB needs such services at the end of' the specified contract
period. If the performance of the selected candidate is found to be not
satisfactory at any time the contract would be terminated by giving one month
notice. Amore comprehensive contract agreement will be signed at the time of
acceptance of appointment.
7. Remuneration:
Selected candidate will be paid a
monthly Salary of Rs. 38,065/- (Rupees Thirty eight thousand sixty five only)
The employee's contribution to the Employees Provident Fund in the Central Bank
of Sri Lanka is 8% of his salary while the Board's contribution is 12%. The
Board's contribution towards the Employee's Trust Fund (ETF) is 3%

of Selections: Selection would be by an interview.
