- PANEL OF VALUERS
Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for the re-appointing of Panel of Lawyers, Panel of
Auctioneers, and Panel of Valuers. Those who have already been enrolled with the Bank will also be
required to re-apply.
A) PANEL OF LAWYERS
The eligible candidate should possess:
Attorney -at-Law with Notarial Licence with not less than 10 years’ experience in the Civil Courts and Notarial Work (English & Sinhala/Tamil). Lawyers in Law firms and Law Associations are also eligible to apply.
Description of work:
Examination and reporting on title, executing of Legal instruments and appearing for the Bank in courts when required.
B) PANEL OF AUCTIONEERS
The eligible candidates should possess:
Licensed Auctioneers should also be Court Commissioners and priority will be given to those who have completed the service as Auctioneers for more than 10 years in State or Private Banks.
Carry out inspections of the collateral security to be auctioned, printing and publishing work relating to auction sale, obtaining approval from the relevant authorities before conducting auction sale and carry out auction sale.
C) PANEL OF VALUERS
The eligible candidate should possess:
Associate membership of the Institute of Valuers of Sri Lanka with at least 05 years’ experience as a Valuer in a Government Department or a recognized institute.
Description of work:
Carry out inspections of the collateral properties as offered by loan applicants as securities to the Bank and provide valuation reports.
General Conditions
The Bank itself reserves the right to accept or reject any application for registration without
assigning reasons.
