VACANCIES
The South Eastern
University of Sri Lanka will entertain applications upto 25.11.2012 from
suitably qualified persons for the following posts:
01 Post of
Assistant Registrar (Legal & Documentation)
Qualifications
a. An
Attorney-at-Law with a Degree in Law / Legal Studies with not less than two
(02) years of experience gamed in Court
work, legal work and drafting legal documentation in a State / Corporation or
reputed private sector organization or official bar after obtaining the above
qualifications.
OR
b. An
Attorney-at-Law with not less three (03) years of experience gained in Court
work, legal work and drafting legal
documentation in a State / Corporation or reputed private sector organization
or official bar after obtaining the above qualification.
02 Post of
Assistant Network Manager, Grade-II
(i) A first class or second class in the
B.Sc special degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a
recognized University;
or
(ii) (a) A pass in the B.Sc. Special Degree
in Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University
Or
A first or
second class in the B.Sc. General Degree with Computing as a subject component
from a recognized University
and
(b) One year experience in the
field of Computing / Networking
OR
(iii)
(a) A pass in the B.Sc. General
Degree with Computing as a subject component from a recognized University.
Or
A first or second
class in the BSc. General Degree (where computing is not a subject component)
from a recognized University.
and
(b) Two years experience in the
field of Computing / Networking
Or
(iv) A pass in the BSc General Degree (where
Computing is not a subject Component) from a recognized University.
and
Three years
experience in the field of Computing / Networking
Or
(v) Any other
Degree
and
A
Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Technology from a
recognized University and One year experience in the field of Computing /
Networking
OR
(vi)
15 years experience as a Computer Programmer in the University Service

(The other allowances determined by the University
Grants Commission will be paid in addition to the above salary).
BENEFITS:
Selected
candidates will contribute 10% of their monthly salary to the University's
Provident Fund, while the employer will make a contribution of 15% of their
salary or which 8% will be credited to the University's Pension Fund and 7% to
the University's Provident Fund. In addition, they will become contributors to
the Employees Trust Fund under which the University will contribute an amount
equivalent to 3% to the salary.

15.11.2012 on payment of Rs. 100/ - perform. Those who wish to obtain
application forms by post are requested to send a money order drawn in favour
of the "Bursar, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka",
payable at the Oluvil Post Office and a covering letter indicating the post
applying for together with a self addressed-stamped envelope 23 x 10 cm in
size. The qualifications for the posts and the advertisement can be viewed in
our website. (www.seu.ac.lk).
Duly completed application forms and copies of
the certificates should be sent under Registered Cover to reach the Registrar,
South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Oluvil # 37360 on or before 25.11.2012.
The title of the post applied for should be indicated at the top left hand
corner of the envelope. Applicants who am employees of Government Departments,
State Corporations and Statutory Bodies should forward their applications
through die Head of their respective institutions, but may send an advance copy
in the first instance. However, no such applicant will be considered for
appointment, if the application routed through the Head of the Department is
not received.
Incomplete and
illegible applications or applications received after the closing date will be
rejected.
