University of Jaffna will entertain applications up to 5th February 2014 from suitably qualified persons for the under mentioned posts.
Faculty of Engineering
Temporary Instructor in Civil Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Mathematics
Qualification:
The applicants must be engineering graduates, who successfully completed four year degree program recognized by University Grants Commission and accredited by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka.
Salary:
Temporary Instructor Rs. 21,370/- per month fixed
Note :
The candidates are expected to conduct the first year engineering laboratories covering all specializations of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Process Engineering and they should be able to help to design the second year level experiments in the same area of
specializations. Candidates who are awaiting the results of the final degree examinations may also apply for the post.
Application forms and other details may be obtained from the office of the Senior Assistant Registrar/ Academic Establishments, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, either in person or by post, on a payment of Rs.100/- per application form. Those who wish to obtain application forms by post are requested to send
a Money Order/Postal Order drawn in favour of the Bursar, University of Jaffna together with a self –addressed stamped envelope 23x10 c.m. in size.
Application forms and other details will also be available in the University website www.jfn.ac.lk. Those who wish to send the application forms downloaded from the University website should attach a Money Order/Postal Order for Rs.100/- to the application form drawn in favour of the Bursar, University of
Jaffna.
Applications for the above posts should be sent to the Senior Assistant Registrar/ Academic Establishments, University of Jaffna.
Applicants from the University System/Government Departments / Corporations and Statutory Board should channel their applications through the Head of the respective Institutions. Illegible, incomplete and late applications will be rejected without intimation. Only short listed applicants will be called for interview.
